摘要：
The printhead in a thermal printer consists of 800 resistor elements spaced along a glass rod so that one dot exists for every possible dot along a line of dots on a thermal paper medium. The circuit pads on both the printhead and the glass epoxy cards must meet correctly and contact properly to insure that each of the 800 resistor elements will activate. The pertinent device and its operation are described.
