Study of the structure of mono- and heterometallic antimony, silicon, and lanthanum alcoxides by IR spectroscopy and X-ray phase analysis

摘要
Simple and heterometallic alcoxides of Si, Sb, and La were synthesized from tetraethoxysilane, antimony glycerate, and lanthanum isopropylate. Their structure was studied by IR spectroscopy and X-ray phase analysis. The way of the coordination of metal ions with electron-donating ligands was determined. It has been found that the binary compound Sb2O5&middotSiO2 crystallizes in the tetragonal symmetry, whereas ternary compounds Sb2O5&middotSiO2&middotLa2O3 forms a cubic crystal lattice.
