摘要
Many branches of the economy involved with the production or use of powdered materials need to monitor structural characteristics. Such monitoring provides a basis for managing technological processes, improving quality, and reducing losses, as well as for reducing the general level of environmental pollution. A particular problem concerns concentration monitoring for a dispersed phase. We describe a modified nephelometer for use with low concentrations of industrial aerosols, and we give the possible sources of error arising from the states of dispersion and chemical composition of the particles.
