Results of research conducted at the Groznyy Petroleum Institute on joint oil and gas transfer via pipelines are described. Optimal conditions for such shipment have been established. Problems of further research required are pointed out. In particular, in the Arctic conditions of West Siberia, joint shipments of oil and gas can be carried out in single-phase and two-phase states. For this purpose, new pumps have to be designed for transferring gas-saturated oil at high pressure and high-tensile pipes have to be manufactured.
