RELIABILITY OF MODELLING OF HYSTERESIS LOOP OF CURRENT TRANSFORMER.

Evaluation of the practical usefulness of modelling the hysteresis loop of the current transformer ferromagnetic core on the analogue computer is presented. The model is made on the basis of information obtained by experiment. Error in modelling is less than 10% for main operating part of the loop by simulating various loads of current transformer secondary with a model of hysteresis loop, on the analogue computer, the harmonic content of the current is obtained. The data are compared with those obtained, experimentally, on original sample. The author, in his conclusion at the end, gives his own estimation as to what extent the modelling of hysteresis loop could substitute for harmonic analysis made by experiment.
