摘要
The size dependence of the Debye-Waller factor for Bragg reflections during electron diffraction in patchy lead films is determined experimentally. The Debye-Waller factor grows by 80% when the size of the patches diminishes from 20 to 2 nm. The values of the effective Debye temperature are found. The Lindemann criterion for the melting of small particles is not satisfied quantitatively.
