A mathematical model is suggested, that is the base of systems of computer-aided synthesis of the controlling programs. It includes the models of equipment geometry, blank material, shaping process and covering press. The computer control of longitudinal covering operations enables to optimize the process parameters what cannot gained by hand control. The relationship of kinetic models of process and press is discussed.
