MODEL PROBLEMS OF OPTIMAL CONTROL OF LARGE SYSTEMS DESCRIBED BY PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS ARE POSED. THE SYSTEMS OF CONSIST OF A LARGE NUMBER OF SUBSYSTEMS, SO THAT THERE ARELOCAL CONSTRAINTS AND GENERAL CONNECTIONS. SOLUTION OF THE PROBLEMS REDUCES TO MULTIDIMENSIONAL SYSTEMS OF LINEAR ALGEBRAIC EQUATIONS. IN ONE CASE, IT IS POSSIBLE TO OBTAIN A SIMPLE SOLUTION OF THEM; IN ANOTHER CASE, A DECOMPOSITION ON THEBASIS OF GROUPING OF THE VARIABLES IS USED EFFECTIVELY.
