摘要
Changes in the composition of the I-20A industrial oil upon its operation as a quenching medium for steel articles were studied by the Proton NMR, IR, Raman, and UV spectroscopy. It has been found that the oil taken from the quenching tank contains aromatic compounds, the concentration of which increases during the oil operation. The presence of non-aromatic unsaturated hydrocarbons having five- and six-membered rings (with endocyclic double bonds) was also detected.
