Investigation on the propellant burning rate prediction of solid propellant motor

A method to predict the burning rate of full-scale motor by the average burning rate of the accompanied sub-scale test motors was put forward. The factors which affect the prediction accuracy of the full-scale motor burning rate were discussed. The principal approaches which can improve the accuracy of prediction were pointed out based on an example.
