A study was made of the kinetics of sorption of cocarboxylase on cellular-sorbent granules of available radius, containing microdispersions of various particle sizes. Experimental results show that the diffusion coefficients of cocarboxylase in cellular sorbents are higher than in gel ion-exchangers by an order of magnitude. Decrease of the particle size of the immobilized microdispersion below 28 mu m does not shorten the average time of cocarboxylase sorption. Comparison of calculated and experimentally determined diffusion coefficients showed that formation of cellular sorbents is probably accompanied by alteration of the matrix structure.
