Prescribing trends of glaucoma medications over a ten year period

A retrospective study of the prescribing trends of glaucoma medications over a ten year period at the Northeastern State University College of Optometry clinic was carried out. The active glaucoma patient log at the clinic was reviewed for all patient visits from 1990-1999. Timolol was the most commonly prescribed drug each year of the decade in the NSUCO glaucoma clinic, except for 1999, when latanoprost was prescribed more often.
