Statistical analysis of time-variant directional mobile radio channels, based on wide-band measurements

The paper presents results of a multidimensional correlation analysis for time-variant directional mobile radio channels. The study is based on propagation measurements recorded at 5.2 GHz using a wide-band channel sounder together with an 8-element uniform linear antenna array. The underlying parametric signal model is described and based on it, different measured scenarios are investigated with respect to their properties in the delay-Doppler-angular domain. The presented results are well within the expectations and give insight into the propagation mechanisms of directional mobile radio channels.
