Acid-base properties of polystyrene anionites with tertiary amine groups

Potentiometric titration curves for weakly basic anionites with tertiary amine group prepared on the base of a macroporous styrene and divinylbenzene copolymer matrix were experimentally measured. It was established that the anionites studied contain tertiary amine groups and strongly basic quaternary ammonium groups. The procedure for calculating the content of active groups of both types from the potentiometric titration curves was proposed.
