AFVs - Alvis Hägglunds

Alvis Hägglunds of Sweden has received an order for 15 more Bv206S all-terrain vehicles, to be used by Sweden's peacekeeping force on international assignments. The order is worth SKr64 million (US$8.5 million) and comprises seven troop transporters, five cargo carriers and three ambulances. This order will bring the total of Bv206S all-terrain vehicles bought by Sweden to 50. Sven Kågevall, president of Alvis Hägglunds, said: Armoured all-terrain vehicles, which enable troops and equipment to move quickly and safely over [usually] inaccessible terrain, are ideally suited to peacekeeping forces on international operations.
