摘要
A reliable power supply to the consumers at any time and in any place can be guaranteed only by maintaining a large enough capacity reserve of adequate structure. The increasing difficulties we shall have to face in extending existing supply systems during the eighties require that better use be made of the existing generating facilities, and this includes a more accurate calculation of the necessary capacity reserve. To this end, it is necessary to analyze the operating behavior of generating units and the possibilities of providing reserve. The characteristic data defining the operating behavior of generating units are described and illustrated by some practical figures. Finally, the principle of reserve calculation is explained by means of an example.
