The problem of formulating the boundary conditions for a regional forecast which is calculated together with the forecast for an extensive area, is examined. With consideration of the use of the splitting method, boundary conditions are derived which are sufficient for coincidence of the solutions of discrete approximations of the problem within the interior region of telescoping. The results of calculations with the use of real data are presented.
