摘要
An electrostatic analyzer is used to study the ion distribution in straight hydrogen discharge. Two groups of ions, with A/Z equals 1 and 16, are distinguished on the basis of the transit time. The energy distribution consists of several groups of protons with various partial densities and temperatures. The ion temperature is comparable to the electron temperature. There is a fine structure in the ion distribution.
