摘要：

Centralize and conquer is how RMON helps overstressed net managers find and fight hot spots, and it offers benefits that go beyond the abilities of network analyzers. From an enterprising perspective, RMON promotes centralized network management and aids troubleshooting by making it unnecessary for technical support personnel to travel to remote sites. Although it can not replace analyzers in every case, it does help net managers keep more precise control of far-flung networks.
