摘要
A new testing instrument, known as Tire Flaw Detector (TFD), is described which provides a computer-controlled technique for interpretation and presentation of test results thus greatly improving the effectiveness and utility of IR tire testing. Principal features of TFD are given, with radiometer developed specifically for the application, and the processing techniques is discussed in detail. Results of test program are presented and their evaluation explained-field of application for the new instrument is pointed out.
