摘要
In ventilation and air conditioning, apart from conditioning the air as to temperature and humidity, cleaning from dusty and gaseous pollutants is indispensable in numerous applications. As a supplement to the separation of gaseous organic air pollutants, which have already been reported on this contribution is intended to show the possibilities of reducing acidic gaseous constituents of air by means of activated carbon filtration. Depending on the input concentration and climate data (temperature and humidity), residence times are given for the desired degrees of separation of 95, 90 and 50%. The residence times are of major importance for practical application.
