摘要
The production by powder metallurgy methods of Cu-Ti alloys (1. 4 and 3% Ti) with a range of hardness (120 to 320 Vh) and electric conductivity (35 to 40 mhos) values was investigated. The purpose was to incorporate homogenizing and tempering treatments in the powder metallurgy technology of sintering and hot pressing in such a way that production costs and time would be reduced to a minimum. Plotted and tabulated data indicate the treatments resulting in property combinations required for a variety of applications.
