摘要
Electrostatic precipitators for glass melting applications are designed by analogy using process models. A general, ensemble model for the electrostatic precipitation of emissions from glass melters is presented and applied to specific applications in the melting of borosilicate and lead glasses. The model describes the performance of an electrostatic precipitator in response to changes in equipment or process.
