摘要
Polypropylene/polyamide-6 blends of different compositions, with the addition of a modified polypropylene as compatibilizer, were prepared by screw extrusion as blown films. Transport and mechanical properties of the films so obtained have been investigated. Barrier performance of polyamide was not reduced even at high percentages (30%) of PP in the blend. The influence of the compatibilizer seems small, as far as permeability is concerned, but is meaningful in regard to mechanical properties (enhancement of modulus and stress, and strain at break) as known from literature.
