ELECTRIC CONDUCTIVITY OF GAS-LIQUID EMULSIONS AND FOAMS.

The dependence of electric conductivity on fraction voids is analytically derived. In developing a model of dense packing for the case of a polyhedral foam structure, the authors arrived at a model with a rhombododecahedral cell, which is fairly close to the structure of real foam. The article presents calculation of foam conductivity for two extreme cases of the rhombododecahedral model, and a formula for the dependence of the heat expansion ratio on the resistivity of the foam.
