Several modernization projects concerning freight cars are briefly described. The following railroad cars and car components were reconstructed: tank cars for transportation of dangerous cargoes, platforms of these cars, vessels of these cars, petroleum-gasoline tank cars, tank cars for transportation of chemically active cargoes, tank cars for transportation of liquefied gases under pressure. Several specific issues concerning modernization works are briefly described.
