In the reported experiments, in the laboratory preparations for enhanced oil recovery by means of surfactants the viscosity behaviour of some mixtures of oil, water and surfactant were investigated in relation to various paramenters like temperature, salt-content, pH-value, surfactant-concentration etc. The results are partly shown in three-dimensional models. The adaptation of a rotational viscosimeter to the requirements of this special task is described. Evidence is given of the correlatability between the viscosity-leap-temperature and the phase-inversion-temperature.
