摘要
The article gives an overview of modern pickling techniques for alloyed and plain steel strips and wire. It provides information on the current state of technology with respect to pertinent regeneration and auxiliary systems. The continuous pickling technique with sulfuric or hydrochloric acid and flat tanks has become established for carbon steel. For smaller output the discontinuous technique is appropriate and, for wire, the EC technique. In addition to the annealing and pickling lines for special steel strip, the spray technique has proven successful for pickling plates. HCl regeneration, H//2SO//4 processing, electrolytic H//2SO//4 regeneration, and liquid-liquid extraction for the regeneration of HNO//3-HF mixes nowadays allow the pickle solutions to be circulated within a closed cycle.
