摘要
Oceaneering and Mariner Energy has completed what is believed to be the world's deepest pipeline repair on its Dulcimer field pipeline, using driverless technology and on-bottom methods. It demonstrates a previously unproven capability for deepwater pipeline repair. Furthermore, the method and equipment used can be extended without modification to water depths of 2300 ft for repair of small diameter flowlines. With equipment modifications to allow the procedures to be performed with the assistance of a remotely operated vehicle, the methodology can be extended to 10,000 ft water depths.
