The paper deals with evaluation of the effect of heat treatment conditions on properties of products made of low-alloy heat resisting steel of 0. 5% Ce - 0. 5% Mo - 0. 3% V. The aim is to reach the acceptable combination of short-term strength properties, notch toughness as well as long-term heat resistance based on optimum tempering temperature and cooling rate from the austenitization temperature. The size of the product section has an effect on properties.
