摘要
The report investigates determining probabilities of early fatigue failures of some aircraft materials. For the case when the shape parameter of these materials is known, the probability distribution functions and asymptotic functions for times to failure are derived as a ratio of the maximum likelihood estimate of the scale parameter. The influence on the probability of failing due to the size of the data base is investigated.
