摘要
A control and data acquisition system for a pneumatic tire testing machine is presented. The system allowed laboratory simulation of the behavior of the tires under real, repetitive conditions in which numerous functional variables could be recorded. The system was established after study of the kinematic and dynamic behavior of the test bench in order to determine the fundamental parameters in the movement of the tire. A software was designed to control the selection and reading of test parameters, dynamic variables of the test bench, and safety of the machine. Also included were some functions describing the dynamic behavior in order to define the type of test to be carried out and stored, and to convert the test parameter data for future storage. The software developed forms an essential tool for the validation of mathematical models by experimental means.
