Identification of cutting force in noncircular turning process

摘要
System output displacement signals and input control forces were used in two algorithms developed for minimum and non-minimum phase systems to measure the cutting force. Force sensors were not used, so the disadvantages of installing a force sensor could be eliminated. Experimental results indicate that this method provides cutting force information for different cutting conditions during noncircular turning. The method provides a new way to investigate the characteristics of noncircular turning.
