Applicational Aspects of Plastics Products.

This paper reviews factors which must be taken into account when designing components in thermoplastics. Particular emphasis is placed on selection of proper materials for specific applications in regard to their properties as determined by established test procedures. Recommendations are given for product design considerations for injection molded components. Guidelines for mold design and molding operations are included along with cost analysis.
