摘要
Recent operational experience demonstrates that sinter quality, sinter output, and coke consumption can be favorably influenced by improved ignition. The possibilities of increasing ignition velocity and efficiency as well as improving sinter quality are indicated. Suggestions are made for adapting the temperature and oxygen content of ignition flue gases to the melting behavior of the sinter mixture and to the reaction velocity of the solid fuel. As an example, a combined ignition and heat treatment furnace is described and operating results are given.
