MEASUREMENT OF THE ANGULAR DIVERGENCE AND TRANSVERSE INTENSITY DISTRIBUTION OF RADIATION FROM A CO2 LASER.

摘要
An instrument is described for measuring the angular divergence and transverse distribution of radiation intensity of a CO//2 laser. Typical oscillograms of the intensity distribution of the radiation over the beam cross section are presented, which were obtained by means of the designed device. Measurements were carried out at the angular divergence of the radiation from a CO//2 laser with an output-aperture diameter of 3 mm. The difference between the theoretical and experimental values of the divergence lies within the accuracy limits of the measurements.
