摘要
To determine the relation of deep drawability to temperature and strain rate which is necessary for setting the warm forming conditions, tensile test and single sink type deep drawing test were conducted using the commercial alloys A5182-O and A5082-O at temperatures in the range from room temperature to 250°C. As a result, the mechanical properties by which the deep drawability at warm temperature is determined and their relations to temperature and strain rate were obtained. It was found that the LDR value was dependent upon the parameter determined from the tensile strength and elongation of the materials of the die and punch. Using this parameter, the relation of deep drawability to temperature and strain rate was clarified. It was clarified that when the strain rate was high, the temperature had a greater effect on the enhancement of warm formability than the strain rate.
