摘要
A simple method of etching Mo at room temperature is described. The method involves immersing the mechanically polished substrate in a hydrogen peroxide-2-propanol solution at room temperature. The rate of etching can be controlled by varying the concentration of peroxide in solution and the degree of etching can be controlled by varying the duration of immersion. Chemical etching in the solution was essential to produce a strongly adhering Hg film on the surface.
