摘要
Different types of bends and joints constructed of 0. 75 inch thick Southern Pine were exposed to either 212 degree , 320 degree or 473 degree F for predetermined lengths of time. The strength and rigidity of each bend and joint were then measured at room temperature. The data generated indicate the effects of temperature, exposure time, grain orientation, bend geometry, and joint configuration on the strength, rigidity, and maximum deflection.
