Possible ways of using a saturated (secondary) vapor condensate resulting from the production of ammonium nitrate for the synthesis of weak nitric acid are considered. It is shown that the use of this condensate can be recommended only if NH//3 and NH//4NO//3 impurities have previously been removed from it. A scheme for removing these impurities in a preliminary washing stage is proposed.
