Dielectrics offer the highest Q-factor for integrated circuit resonators. Low order modes with higher Q than the fundamental are useful despite mode competition and slightly increased area. A two pole band pass filter with a bandwidth of 0.20% and insertion loss of 1.7 dB at 11.12 GHz is described using higher E13δ mode square cuboid resonators.
