摘要：
The objective of this article is to familiarize the designer of radio equipment with what can and cannot be done to certain classes of Gunn and Impatt components. A brief description of the physics of Gunn and Impatt devices is presented. Two prevailing types of FM/FDM radios are described, along with typical specifications which must be met by its components.
