摘要
It is shown that the globality index, i. e. , the number of values used to take a drawing decision, is a measure of the complexity of a graphical method. Contouring techniques are reviewed in that connection and a minimal-globality technique is presented. Then it is shown that other representations as suggestive as contouring, but computationally simpler, may be introduced.
