摘要
The development and introduction of new petroleum products based on heavy crude oils and Permian bitumens from the Tatar region is one of the ways of using this unconventional petroleum feedstock efficiently. However, research in this direction must be based primarily on features of its chemical composition. The fact is that Tatar bitumens, which mainly include heavy high-viscosity crude oils and mineral tars, are natural products with a different degree of natural transformation. Characteristic features of the composition of each individual crude oil from a specific field cannot therefore determine the quality of the target petroleum products obtained. For example, the small content of solid paraffins of normal structure in Permian heavy crude oils from the Tatar region made it possible to recommend these crude oils as feedstock for producing low pour-point lubricating oils not requiring an expensive deparaffinization stage. In view of the choice of the Tatar Ashal'chinsk field for initial testing of the method of industrial production of heavy, high-viscosity crude oils using steam and heat generators, and in view of the need to develop scientifically sound recommendations for complex processing of bitumens, it was of interest to classify crude oils from this field and to establish the influence of features of their composition on the quality of residual oils.
