摘要：
The derivation of the wave equation and the parabolic approximation for the signal envelope in a dispersive plasma is shown. By using an asymptotic approach to solving the steady-state equations analytical expression are obtained for the distortions of the pulse envelope in terms of the given initial data and the parameters of the nonuniform dispersive plasma.
