Processes are proposed in which improved design of sleeve anchoring locks could produce considerable saving in the cost of reinforced concrete and raise the level of mechanizatio in preparing and prestressing the reinforcement. The proposed sleeve lock is shown to be especially useful in multiple tensioning and also in production of reinforced concrete elements on short beds and in power forms, in that it ensures the necessary accuracy in the length of the tendon and minimizes waste. It also permits use of low-strength concrete (200-250 kg/cm**2), owing to the supplementary anchoring effect of the sleeve base.
