摘要
The purpose of this work is to examine the possibility of obtaining highly concentrated brines during desalination of simulated DCW without preliminary softening with the use of MK-100M cation-exchange membrane obtained by chemical modification of homogeneous MK-100 cation-exchange membrane with ethylenediamine. It is shown that by using modified homogeneous cation-exchange membranes of the MK-100M type and circulating the brine with the use of calcium sulfate seed crystals it is possible to desalinate unsoftened hard water, obtaining a concentrated brine.
