摘要
The prototype of rewritable quasi-three-dimensional (2.5D) optical data storage based on single-beam two-photon point-by-point writing and fluorescent page-by-page reading has been developed. Multilayer polymeric matrices containing several (up to five) 1 μm photochromic informative layers separated by transparent 30 μm inert layers are used as a storage medium. Tightly focused beam of femtosecond pulse trains is shown to be an optimal source for two-photon writing. Spatial resolution of 1.4 μm and equivalent information density of 0.2 Gbit/cm2 have been achieved when naphthacenepirydones are used for sensitizing.
