摘要
Studies in the laboratory and field were carried out for one year which showed the ruggedness of the process. The pH of the digesting mass remained constant around 6. 8 plus 0. 2. The average gas production was 0. 2 m**3/kg of volatile matter added/day and the volatile solids destruction ranged between 40 and 56%.
