摘要
An investigation is performed into the mechanical properties and fracture behaviour for steels ST3, 20, 20L, 45, 75GS, 17GSL, 10G2S1, 17G2AF and 40Kh at high temperatures. To increase the crack resistance of steels and the quality of billets it is indicated: 1) to make steels having low contents of harmful impurities (sulfur, phosphorus, nonferrous metals); 2) to inoculate steels by alkaline- and rare-earth metals for neutralizing harmful impurities, improving the plasticity within the brittleness temperature range and narrowing this range; 3) to rise the manganese-sulphur ratio up to 20-30 in steel.
